Nongda 86 is China's first food-feed dual-use corn variety developed in China Agricultural University in 1996, and was approved by Beijing Municipality in 2000. Nongda 86 has outstanding green protection. After full maturity, the plants have 11 or more green leaves; the yield is relatively high, and the average yield per mu is 700 kg, which is 5%-10% higher than that of Nongda 108. The yield of straw silage after harvesting seeds can reach 2500 kg/mu; At the same time, the comprehensive resistance of Nongda 86 is outstanding, and it is resistant to disease, lodging, and resistance to warts. Disease resistance identification results: resistance to large spot disease, high resistance to small spot disease and dwarf mosaic disease, Curvularia spp. Nongda 86 has a fertility period of 123 days in Beijing. 22 leaves of the whole plant, plant height 259 cm, semi-compact plant type, well-developed roots, ear position 105.2 cm, ear length 20.2 cm, ear thickness 4.5 cm, good fruitability, ear row number 14, half-dental type, ear The axis is white, the grain is orange-yellow, and the grain weight is 314 grams. The seeding rate is 84.9%. Crude protein 11.62%, crude fat 4.46%, crude starch 70.64%, lysine 0.29%. Cultivation techniques: This species has good lodging resistance, but the leaves are uplifted, but the leaves are slightly wider, and the mid-growth period is more luxuriant and should not be planted too densely. The suitable density is 3000-3500 (if only for silage, the density can be appropriately increased to 5000 Plants / mu), long growth period, pay attention to strengthen the management of fertilizer and water in the later period to prevent defertilization. Medium fertility plots use 20 kg urea, 20 kg diamine and 70 kg potassium chloride as base fertilizer and 40 kg urea as top dressing per acre.
