How to Apply Fertilizer in the Middle and Late Growth of Summer Sesame

Summer sesame high-yielding cultivation, in the fertilization to be re-applied, shallow basal fertilizer, appropriate application of seed fertilizer, reapplied flower bud fertilizer, phosphorus spray, potash fertilizer; organic fertilizer, with the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, to minimize the amount of fertilizer To improve sesame quality. Every 100 kg of sesame needed to produce fertilizer: 6.24 to 8.13 kg of nitrogen fertilizer, 2.19 to 3.28 kg of phosphate fertilizer, and 6.24 to 10.19 kg of potassium fertilizer.

However, in the summer sesame planting in our province, most farmers do not apply basal fertilizer, and topdressing only topdressing urea or a small amount of compound fertilizer. The unreasonable application of fertilizers has seriously affected the potential of sesame production.

At present, the summer sesame seeds in our province have entered the mid-growth stage. We must pay close attention to the management of fertilizers in the middle and later stages so as to increase production and income.

The replenishing basal fertilizer should pay attention to the top-dressing fertilizer and prevent the defertilizer from applying for basal fertilizer. For high-yielding fields, 10 kg of high-quality potassium sulfate compound fertilizer is applied per acre and shallow depth is 4 to 6 cm. For low-yielding fields, 10 kg of high-quality potassium sulfate compound fertilizer is applied per acre, and 5 kg of urea are added.

Replanting flower bud fertilizer For the field where the basal fertilizer has been applied, the flower bud fertilizer should be reapplied. Single stalked sesame seedlings were applied with flower bud fertilizer from flower buds to early flowering stages. The thin soils or growth potentials should be applied as early as possible. Branched sesame seeds should be topdressed when branches emerged. Generally, 5 to 10 kg of urea can be topdressed per acre, plus 5 kg of high-quality potassium sulfate compound fertilizer, or 10 to 15 kg of high-quality potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per acre.

Spraying phosphorus and potassium fertilizers in the early flowering period of summer sesame seeds, with a concentration of 0.3% to 0.4% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution per acre of 50 kilograms, spraying once every 5 to 6 days, even spraying 2 or 3 times. At the same time, 50 kg of borax, ammonium molybdate solution or zinc sulfate solution can be sprayed at an interval of 1 mu, and the yield can be increased by more than 10% per mu. The borax spray concentration is generally 0.2%, ammonium molybdate is 0.05%, and zinc sulfate is 0.2%.
