After inserting water, Phnom Penh Ruixiang can take the following 6 steps:
First, material selection. Darker colored containers (with glass dishes), 10010-6 naphthalene acetic acid, foam plates with a thickness of 2 cm to 3 cm, clean pebbles, and sterilized loose culture soil are the best materials.
Second, cut the cuttings. On the day before the cutting, it is best to cut with a knife at the branch point of 1 mm to 2 mm (not available with scissors), which can speed up healing and rooting. Select the semi-lignified and strong branches in the year, 6 cm to 8 cm in length, and take 1 to 2 leaves. The leaves do not need to be cut for photosynthetic purposes.
Third, determine the cutting time. Water can be inserted all year round in Phnom Penh, usually in summer. Shandong is best in the middle or late July (at this point, the new branch tends to mature and is a good season for water plugging).
Fourth, operation. Use a sharp knife to split the middle of the lower end of the cuttings with clean stones. Immediately immerse the cuttings in a 10010-6 NAA solution and soak for about 10 minutes. According to the thickness of the cuttings, the plastic plate shall be tapered at a certain spacing (with the blades not covering each other), and then the treated cuttings shall be inserted into these holes to expose the lower end by 3 cm to 4 cm, and then the plastic plate shall be placed thereon. On the vessel full of water, set the greenhouse to the sunny place.
Fifth, management. Change the water every 2 days to 3 days. Use spring water and river water as a good condition. Use tap water after 2 days storage. When changing water, any moss in the vessel should be washed and disinfected with 1/1000 potassium permanganate. In case of hot weather, sprinkle water around the utensils. Generally, the cuttings are rooted for about 50 days under conditions of 22°C to 28°C.
Sixth, the basin. After the cuttings have been rooted (the roots are not too long), the plastic plates are smashed by hand and the seedlings are removed. Put half of the culture soil in the flower pot, one hand to correct the seedlings, one hand slowly sprinkle a layer of loose and moist culture soil around the seedling root, avoid compaction. Finally soaked with water, placed in a cool cool for half months, then transferred to normal management, but can not be fertilized, otherwise easy to rot to die.
