Scientific application methods of commonly used chemical fertilizers

1. Ammonium bicarbonate is applied deeply and covered with soil, and the utilization ratio of groundwater application is increased by 20% to 30%, which is 10% to 15% higher than the shallow application rate. Ammonium bicarbonate should be used as a basal fertilizer and top dressing. When used as a base fertilizer, apply a depth of 15 to 20 cm. After the application, cover soil to prevent evaporation loss.

Second, urea is an amido ammonia nitrogen fertilizer, which is applied to the soil after passing through soil microorganisms for 3 to 4 days and converted into ammonium carbonate or ammonium bicarbonate before they can be absorbed by the crop. Therefore, the basal fertilizer must be applied deeply, and it should be applied 4 to 5 days earlier than ammonium bicarbonate and ammonium sulfate. After urea is applied, it should not be immediately irrigated. If the irrigation immediately after top dressing is easy to make urea water loss, it should be irrigated after 4 to 6 days. Urea should not be directly used as seed fertilizer, because high concentrations of urea are directly contacted with seeds, often affecting seed germination, resulting in uneven seedlings.

Third, diammonium phosphate should be used as a basal fertilizer, such as for top dressing, should be applied early and deepen 10 cm. Do not cover soil or diammonium phosphate with water, otherwise most of the nitrogen will remain on the surface; do not mix with alkaline fertilizers such as grass ash and lime to prevent nitrogen from evaporating and reducing the effectiveness of phosphorus.

4. After ammonium nitrate is applied to soil, it quickly decomposes into ammonium ions and nitrate ions. Ammonium ions can be absorbed by the soil. Nitrate ions are not easily preserved in soil and are easily lost with water. Therefore, it is not easy to apply topdressing and paddy field application.

Five, superphosphate is suitable for all kinds of crops and soil, can be used as basal fertilizer and topdressing, but can not be directly used as seed fertilizer, because the free acid contained in it will produce seedlings and burn seedlings. Should be applied Shi, acupoints, roots, concentrated use or mixed with organic fertilizer, can improve utilization.

Sixth, calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer is insoluble in water, only soluble in weak acid, in the acidic soil as the basal fertilizer application effect is best; should not be applied in neutral and alkaline soil, nor as top dressing, as top dressing has little effect.

VII. The absorption and utilization rate of the current crop after the application of phosphate fertilizer is very low. Therefore, it is not necessary to apply the P-fertilized plots continuously every year. It can be applied every other year to increase efficiency.

8. Potassium chloride should not be applied on saline-alkali soil to prevent salt damage; nor can it be applied on boiled crops such as potato, sugar beet, tobacco leaf, tea tree, citrus and grape. It should be used as little or as little as possible during dry seasons in arid regions.
