The influencing factors are as follows:
1 Organic matter content The suitable organic content of the compost material is 20-80%.
2 Moisture Content Practice has proved that the composting material has a moisture content of 50% to 60% (mass), and the microbial decomposition rate is fastest.
3 Ventilation and Oxygen Consumption Rate The appropriate oxygen concentration is 14-17%. The microbial oxygen consumption rate generally peaks at 60-80 hours of the fermentation reaction.
A carbon/nitrogen ratio of 4:1 carbon and nitrogen to the initial material of 30:1 is desirable for composting, and the optimal value is between 26:1 and 35:1. The carbon-nitrogen ratio K = (C1 + C2)/( N1 + N2) of the mixed raw material can be calculated by the following formula.
5 Carbon-phosphorus ratio is 75-150.
6 The preferred temperature is 35-55°C.
7 pH The pH of the final product = 7.0 to 8.0.
