What are the problems with the electronic platform in use?

We know that load cells and weighing displays are the core components of electronic weighbridges, and they have shown a variety of trends, both imported and domestic, with a wide variety of models. Localization is the mainstream direction for sensors and displays on the floor scale. At the same time, the localization of electronic components and other electronic devices is increasing. With the popularity of electronic platform scales and the increasing trend of localization, problems such as quality and inaccurate weighing are inevitable in the process of using electronic weighbridges.

1, the indication value is out of tolerance

The indication error of the electronic platform scale is greater than the maximum allowable error of the national verification procedure. A simple indication error tolerance cannot be said to be a fault. Because any metering instrument has a certain amount of performance after a period of operation. After the installation and commissioning of the electronic platform, its various metering performances are within the allowable error range. After a long time of use, the error will change, and the indication error may be greater than the allowable error in use, that is, “over tolerance”. It is difficult for the operator to find out, and only the verification personnel of the metrology department can use the standard weight to check.

2. Faults caused by environmental problems

One of the main reasons is that the electronic weighbridge uses poor on-site environmental sanitation, such as long-term weighing of bulk materials, debris, dust entering the weighing platform or reptiles entering the inside of the instrument. When wet weather occurs, debris and dust are absorbed by moisture. Conductive, causing component or line failure, and sometimes burning components. Such faults are generally not displayed properly.

3. Faults caused by sensor problems

Electronic platform scales are generally used in parallel with 4 to 10 sensors. The error is generally below 0.02% FS. The damage of the sensor is mostly caused by weighing overload, improper use or internal quality of the sensor (patch, insulation, etc.). Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the protection of the sensor.
