In the northern grain and the south, railway transportation has always dominated. The short-term bottleneck has no chance of breakthrough, and the hot metal transport will become a new choice for grain companies in the Northeast to try the northern grain and the south, and the northeast grain port transportation capacity will continue to expand.

Guo Lixin, general manager of Yingkou Port Food Co., Ltd., said that Yingkou Port currently has two dedicated grain terminals, with an annual transportation capacity of 10 million tons. Now the port's transport capacity is greater than that of rail transport to ports, and it is in a state of “failure to eat”. He believes that the key to the problem is still in the capacity of railway transportation.

Li Tao, director of the Dalian Port Harbin Office, said that in recent years, the grain transport capacity of the ports in the northeastern region has continuously increased, and the annual operating capacity of corn alone has reached 25 million to 30 million tons; the grain transport capacity cannot meet the conditions of the port energy transport. A factor of a prosperous season, grain companies hope to ship the grain from the northeast region from December to April. This is really unlikely. The railway transportation capacity is limited.
